These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of sushisoya.com and any orders placed through it. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.
1. The seller

2. Products and prices
All products on the site are prepared meals (sushi, rolls, drinks, condiments) intended for immediate consumption. Prices are shown in euros (€) and include Belgian VAT. Product photos are illustrative; portions and presentation may vary slightly.
3. Allergens and food information
Allergen information is provided on each product page in line with Regulation (EU) 1169/2011. Our kitchen handles fish, crustaceans, sesame, soy, dairy, eggs and cereals containing gluten; cross-contamination cannot be excluded. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.
4. Ordering process
- Place items in your cart, proceed to checkout, fill in your contact and delivery details, and confirm the order.
- Your order is binding once you receive the on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of stock shortage, force majeure, or out-of-zone delivery.
5. Payment
Payment is processed by Mollie B.V. (NL). Accepted methods include Bancontact, credit cards, and other methods listed at checkout. Cash on delivery may be available; please check at checkout.
6. Delivery
- Delivery zone: Oostende city (postcode 8400).
- Hours: daily, see opening hours on the homepage.
- Cost: €5 flat; free for orders of €25 or more.
- Estimated time: 30–60 minutes from order confirmation, depending on volume and weather.
Delivery time estimates are indicative and not contractual. If you are not at the address at the agreed time, the order may be returned to the kitchen and a re-delivery charge may apply.
7. Right of withdrawal — does not apply
Under Article VI.53, 4° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods or goods that are quickly spoiled. Once an order for prepared food has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund.
8. Complaints and faulty orders
If your order is incorrect, damaged or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery at info@sushisoya.com or by phone. Where appropriate we will offer a replacement, a credit, or a refund.
You retain your statutory rights under Belgian law, including the legal guarantee of conformity (Art. 1641 BW).
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury or for any other liability that cannot be limited under Belgian law.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, photos, logos and design — is the property of Sushi SOYA or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any part of it for commercial purposes without written consent.
11. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Disputes
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of West Flanders, division Bruges, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in favour of the consumer.

13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version applicable to your order is the one published on the website at the time of order.
